Private Lessons

In Fencing, private lessons are the ideal way to advance your fencing skills, create muscle memory, and get individualized instruction and mentoring.

A private lesson costs $20 for a 20 minute session. (Remember, fencing is very intense sport.) If you need fencing clothing or equipment for your lesson, there is an equipmnet rental charge of $5 per lesson.

We also package our private lessons with many of our membership packages.

Enrichment Programs

We have helped many schools build sucessful before/during/after school fencing programs. Fencing is a great sport that works well to train critical thinking and keep kids in shape. Fencing has been described as 'chess at 100 miles per hour'. If your school is interested in a program, please contact us.

Wheelchair Fencing

Denver Fencing Center had two coaches (Haley Ward and Bob Block) attend US Fencing Coaches' College and we are actively looking for a group of participants to start a wheelchair fencing program. Wheelchair fencing is a very active and exciting sport. We will be promoting our wheelchair program on Fox 31 Morning show with Dan Daru on November 13th.

If you are interested in trying Wheelchair Fencing, please contact us.

Demonstrations

By request, we can come do various type of fencing demonstrations for schools, clubs, and other non-entities.
Our demonstrations can run in variety of different ways:

1. A History demonstration called "From Knights to Fencers: Swordfighting Great History" for all of Jefferson County Libraries branches.

2. We have taken over a elementary and a middle school gym classes and taught the whole class (26 kids in all) how to fence.

3. We have shown a gym class how fencing works and then proceed to teach them games and footwork drills from fencing.

Fencing is a fun and exciting sport and give kids and adults the ability to see something different that they will talk about. If you would like to talk to us about doing a demonstration with your organization, please contact us.
