What is the Denver Fencing Center? The Denver Fencing Center (DFC) is a full-time fencing facility located just minutes away from downtown Denver (near Santa Fe and Evans). We offer over 30 different fencing classes weekly for all ages and all abilities. As a true fencing center, we train fencers in all three Olympic fencing weapons: foil, epée, and saber. In less than four years, we have grown to be the largest U.S. Fencing Member club in Colorado. We also teach classes full-time in Golden (right next to Golden High School). So you will have two great locations to learn the sport of fencing. Summer Fencing Camps You can now register for 11 different weeks of summer fencing camps. We will do four weeks of camps in Golden and seven week of camps at the Denver location. The Denver Fencing Center Summer Fencing Camps provide a great opportunity to learn the sport of fencing over a week long period. If you would like to sign up online, click on Camps. 2008 Class Schedule You can register online for any 2008 classes at DFC. You can see the classes displayed by clicking on Classes or see the weekly schedule by clicking on Schedule. Classes at Denver Fencing Center Golden Wheelchair Fencing and Fox 31 TV. Two of our coaches (Haley Ward and Bob Block) completed US Fencing Coaches' College and are looking for a group of participants to start a wheelchair fencing program. Wheelchair fencing is a very active and exciting sport. We promoted our wheelchair program on the Fox 31 Morning Show with Dan Daru on November 13th, 2007.
