Denver Fencing Center won 17 medals in 4 different cities in one weekend! One of DFC great weekend started with a normal DFC Friday Night Fight. In the foil event, Max Shetterly took Bronze. In epee, DFC fencers dominiated with Ian Hogg taking Bronze. Kimean Stucki bested Ryan Stadtmuller to win the tournament and earn her E rating. At the Air Force's Falcon Open, Ethan Hesse takes the Silver Medal in Youth 10 Epee. Devin Tafoya took the top spot in Y12 Epee and took a Bronze in the Youth 14 Epee. Haley Jergensen took the Silver Medal in Under 17 Women Epee. Our Men's Foil team took 7 of the top 9 spots in the tournament with Derek Driggs taking Silver, Joe Longuevan and Logan Patrick earn Bronze. Logan also earned his D rating. Ella Morgan and Jasmine Lambert tied for Bronze in the Women's Epee event. Eva Heinrich lost the final 15-12 in Women's Sabre, earning a Silver Medal. In the Air Force tournament, we won 10 medals and two rating upgrades. At the Rain City Regional Youth Circuit in Seattle, Edwin Bodoni finished 5th while his sister Evelyn Bodoni won Bronze in both the Youth 12 Women's Foil and Youth 10 Women's Foil. At the Remenyik Open (Chicago), Tony Gross overcame a low seed with some great victories in Direct Elimination round to to take the Bronze medal and re-earn his C rating.
